September 20-21, 2003-
Charlie competed in the Piedmont Blues Preservation Society (PBPS) talent showcase with his own band, The Charlie Atwell Group. PBPS described Charlie and his band as "hard-hitting guitar/vocal attack" and awarded the band third place in the two day competition.
